And in Chapter One of Rising Beyond Hope, I step back into a season where life wasn’t yet loud, sharp, or complicated. It was soft around the edges. Warm. Safe. Like I was wrapped in a cocoon I didn’t realize I’d one day need to outgrow.

But even in innocence, something was already stitching beneath the surface—like a seam of darkness under bright fabric. And faith—family faith, stubborn faith—was already teaching me how to live near that seam without getting swallowed by it.
