Ah, yes, it was fun and frustrating at the same time. My interest in producing an audiobook was piqued five years ago when I began following Derek Doepker creator of Audiobooks Made Easy. They still aren't, but it was a nice side hobby to explore.
A year ago, I laid the audiobook track down in 19 different files in a free app called Audacity, but then came the real challenge with audiobooks. Editing. My radio background had me working with magnetic recording tape and razor blades to make precise edits with several takes.
It challenges patience and fortitude.
Imagine when I ran across the software Hindenburg which incredibly launched my audiobook editing into a new dimension.
It's finished.
This week, its time to gather the files and upload to the audiobook company.
Here's to your hopeful spirit in this life. The development of the Odyssey of Hope series took a decade.
Warning: I believe I have another decade of creative production in me.
Cheers.
